Oyate Concern
Oyate Concern is a Christian ministry working to serve the Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Oglala, South Dakota (located in south-west South Dakota). Oyate Concern’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus and empower indigenous Christians to lead disciple-making ministries where lives and communities can be transformed through the gospel. As we do so, we embrace God’s call to the ministry of reconciliation and provide essential emotional, physical, and spiritual support to communities in need. Oyate Concern was established as a non-profit in 2003.
