Oyate Concern is a donor-funded ministry. We are a 501c3 organization, and receive no state or federal funding. As a Christian ministry in an impoverished community, we provide food, education, and pastoral counseling, as well as the spiritual light and love of a church that makes disciples on a multi-generational level. As a missional agency of the body of Christ, we are grateful for how God connects us to churches, individuals, and families who feel a burden to partner with us in ministry.

Where do donations go?

Donations to Oyate Concern go into the ministry’s general budget. Separate donations can be made to the indigenous leaders fund, to Oyate Concern Christian Pre-School, or to Wówaš’ake Stable. Please indicate when you are making a donation if you wish to designate it specifically.

Are Donations Tax Deductible?

Donations are tax deductible, and receipts are sent in January for donations made the previous year. In-kind receipts can be made upon request for physical items donated (or professional services rendered).
